Robert Young
BAFTA and Palme D’Or winning Director Robert is a veteran of films such as Fierce Creatures (Universal), Splitting Heirs (Universal), Captain Jack (Granada), Hostage (Paramount), The World Is Full Of Married Men (New Line) not to mention the classic Vampire Circus (Hammer) and TV series such as GBH, The Inspector Lynley Series and Jane Eyre. His most recent films include All At Sea, starring Lauren Bacall, Brian Cox and James Fox and Curse Of The Phoenix, which he directed and produced.
Stephen Cranny
Stephen produced his first feature film, Out Of Depth, which enjoyed a theatrical release in 2000. He worked initially as an Assistant Director on feature films, and credits include; The Madness of King George, Hard Men, Haunted, Loop and the NBC mini-series The Apocalypse Watch. He subsequently worked as a consultant with Sales Agent BV International Pictures, working in product acquisition/all rights selling, financing and tax structuring. He has produced corporates and commercials for clients including Body Shop and Grand Hotels as well as producing ‘London’ content for Fuji TV. He produced All At Sea, Curse Of The Phoenix, Anchor Bay’s World War Dead : Rise Of The Fallen and Howl, Heretiks, Macbeth and My Sister’s Bones which he line produced. He is also the Producer and Programming Director of Kingston International Film Festival (KIFF).
Hugh Janes
Hugh Janes has worked in film, television, theatre and radio since he was eleven. He started as a child actor, going on to perform at the Old Vic, National Theatre and the West End. He has written over 40 plays and site specific pieces including, The Haunting, Two of a Kind, Master Forger, A Soldier’s Song and The Perfect Murder. He was a script consultant for BBC Children’s television and he has written plays and a series for the BBC. Hugh’s films include; Wide Blue Yonder, starring Lauren Bacall and Brian Cox, and Curse of the Phoenix (aka Ghost Ship). He co-produced Curse of the Phoenix and both films were directed by Robert Young. Hugh has screenplays for The Haunting, Selfie and Operation Orange in development.
